THE great and the good from one of Teignbridge's many Army Cadet groups are to take to the streets for a litter pick.

Members of the Bovey Tracey Army Cadet Force will be taking part in the exercise in Chudleigh Knighton on Thursday, June 15, between 7pm - 9pm.

Sergeant Major Spence Bartlett said: 'We held a successful litter pick in August last year around Heathfield.

'There are 32 cadets and four instructors in Detachment D company.

'Devon (ACF) through a broad range of challenging, educational and adventurous activities gives young people from age 12 up to 20 years the opportunity to develop leadership and team working skills, builds their confidence and helps them develop physically, mentally and socially.'
