WITH the successful launch of its 'Stay and Play' session, a Teignbridge library is calling for additional donations of unwanted toys to help grow its collection.

'If you are having a clear out, consider dropping off your little one's unwanted toys at the library' a spokesman for Newton Abbot Library said.

'We would really appreciate donations of toys (wooden or plastic) that are safe and suitable for small children.' the spokesman added.

The library is on the lookout for toys of cars, trains, trucks, animals, fantasy creatures, dinosaurs, kitchen sets, toy food and tea sets.

The Stay and Play sessions, which are free, take place from 10am to 12pm on Mondays.
