The casualty, from Plympton, was taken by ambulance to Plymouth’s Derriford Hospital for treatment late on Monday night.
The accident with the Totnes-registered tipper happened at 10.30pm on the Plymouth-bound carriageway near the roadworks at the Dart Bridge turn-off.
The woman’s car was recovered from the scene just after 1.30am.
