USERS of Kingsteignton's community hall have hit back at a petition calling for the car park to be available to parents with children at Rydon Primary School.

Grandparent Tony McKeever, who uses the car park for the toddler group and creche, believes the car park should remain for hall users only.

He said: 'I do not agree with this petition at all.

'As a grandparent who uses the car park for the toddler group, it is always full of parents who use it for a Rydon School drop-off point and for the many mothers to get-together.
