NEWTON Abbot-based care home Southlands raised £200 for Cancer Research UK through its late summer tea party.

Residents and staff welcomed family, friends and members from the cancer charity, who enjoyed a sunny afternoon of laughter and fun, with cream teas and sandwiches.

Lynn Kelly, deputy chairman of Cancer Research Newton Abbot and District, said: ‘We are very grateful for Southlands’ continued support.’
