Four of the 25 charities which shared the £21,000 raised by last October's Dartmoor Vale races were invited to a presentation at the Cockhaven Manor Hotel, Bishopsteignton, last week.

The 10k, half and full marathons were organised by the Rotary Club of Dartmoor Vale and based at Sibelco UK's East Golds Works, Kingsteignton.

Rotary boosted by 50 per cent any sponsorship the athletes raised for their chosen charities and also secured Gift Aid where possible, something individuals cannot do.
