A CELEBRATION of community groups takes place tomorrow in Bovey Tracey.

The town’s Methodist church hall is hosting an event to demonstrate many of activities provided by the growing number of community and interest groups which offer sports play or somewhere to meet socially.

Organised by minister Kevin Hooke, the event runs from 10am to 2pm.

A spokesman said: ‘The purpose of the event is to celebrate the many activities, sports, social groups and clubs that are based in the parish and for these groups to promote themselves to the local community.

‘There are so many wonderful activities taking place and this is an ideal opportunity for residents to meet potential members and other organisations to discuss areas of common interest.’
