TWO nights of live music wowed audiences at historic Powderham Castle last week.

Fans flocked to the opening night of the first ever TK Maxx presents Live At Powderham last Thursday and were hungry like the wolf to see those Wild Boys of British music , Duran Duran, who were playing the venue as part of their Dance Macabre tour.

Support for the foursome came from JC Stewart, who opened the event, while music pioneer Nile Rodgers & Chic brought the Good Times with a dance anthem-packed performance to get the party started.

The following night electronic superstars Basement Jaxx put on a stunning show at the castle where founders Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe were joined by funk and soul tastemaker Craig Charles, and acclaimed DJ Storm Mollison.
