BUCKFAST Methodist Chapel saw its first wedding in ages when Tim Stacey and Georgina Meakin, both of Jordan Street, Buckfastleigh, tied the knot.

Officiating was the Rev Gordon Davis, from Totnes.

Best man was Graham Squires and bridesmaids were Jessica and Hannah Stacey.

The bride was given away by her father, James Meakin, who attended along with the brides mother, Molly. The bridegrooms mother Valerie Stacey was also present among a chapel full of family and friends.

A reception was held at Glazebrook Lodge Hotel, South Brent.
