Charities can always rely on local businesses for support

John Limbrick, of Eaton Court, Exeter Road, Teignmouth, writes:

The Breathe Easy Teignmouth Group would like to thank all the local traders and individuals for their support in donating prizes for the raffle that was held in conjunction with the Spring Dance event last month.

Without them there would have been no raffle and a total of £575 would not have been available for group funds.

Had we relied on the supermarkets etc to which we applied we would have had no prizes at all!

I am sure that we are not the only charity that has found that you can rely on the local businesses and individuals for support when the need arises. So thanks once again to all who supported us.THIS AND OTHER LETTERS IN OUR ONLINE EDITION
