CHILD sexual exploitation is likely to be happening on a daily basis across Devon according to the county council although there is no evidence to suggest organised networks are operating.

The claims were made following the publication of a report on Christmas eve by the authority's People Scrutiny Committee.

It contains what the authors described as 'a series of hard-hitting recommendations'.
