OUCH: Dan Henson was a real glutton for punishment. The B&Q Newton Abbot checkout supervisor had his legs waxed for Children in Need by Michaela Avery (pictured above) then, along with Mark Scornea, a member of the staff replenishment team, sat in baths of baked beans.

Dan then went to the University of Exeter to lay in a bath of baked beans to appear on the Children in Need outside broadcast.

Throughout the day there were all sorts of events at the B&Q store including a bike-a-thon, fancy dress, Chudleigh Knighton Primary School children singing and dancing, and rowing machines.
