About 60 youngsters enjoyed the Bovey Tracey Christian's Together children's holiday club.

'This year our setting was Rocky's Plaice fish and chip restaurant and the themes were how we can have hope, healing, love and spreading the news about Jesus,' said Carolyn Laycock, family worker at St Peter, St Paul and St Thomas of Canterbury, Bovey Tracey.

'The tickets sold out two weeks before the event.'

They also had fun creating crafts, bible discovery, watching a slapstick drama and film, and working through various challenges.

Support was given by Front line Image, South West Water and the Alms House Trust.
