HIGH winds and rain have forced the cancellation of tomorrow’s Dawlish Christmas street market.

But organisers have managed to move some of the market stalls inside into the Strand Centre for its indoor event.

The bad weather may have put a temporary halt on the outdoor entertainment but arrangements have been made to move it into the dry.

Some stalls will by in the Strand Centre in the afternoon and there will also be a chance to hear the High Cs perform at 1.30pm following by Wrecked Again.

Watch out for Scrooge and a large Christmas present which have been organised despite the bad weather.

A face painter will also be in the library between 9.30am and 1pm.

Tonight’s lights switch on is still scheduled to take place at 6pm by the Mayor Cllr Lisa Mayne.
