Having constructed their new piste and opened it in March, Bovey Tracey Petanque Club has gone from strength to strength.
Membership numbers have increased three fold from nine to 28, and they play on their piste at Bovey Tracey Athletic Football Club ground every Sunday.
The group has just completed another excellent year in competition, having won the South Devon Twinning Petanque League Shield for the eighth consecutive year. The club also won three other trophies – The Feniton Plate, Honiton Tony Oliver Memorial Trophy and the Exminster Syd Thomas Trophy.
