THE Co-op has refused to rule out a new store in Bovey Tracey.

Speculation that a major retailer would be coming to town was sparked this week by a planning application submitted for the former Riverside Inn.

The 17th century hostelry was sold last month after commercial estate agent Charles Darrow had invited offers of around £750,000.
