Kingskerswell and district Horticultural Society's 45th autumn show was a colourful affair, thanks to the variety of vegetables and flowers on display at the weekend. It featured a variety of classes, including flowers, vegetables, domestic, handicraft, photography. John Yeo, a member of the society, said the show, held at Kingskerwell Village Hall, was a great success. 'We had slightly fewer entries than last year, but it went very well,' he said. 'Some people who usually enter were away on holiday, which brought our entries down a little bit.' Trophy winners cups 2006: Len Matthews Memorial Cup for Best in show – Mike Johnson.
