RESIDENTS in Newton Abbot are being invited to meet members of the local police team at a community engagement event.

The Newton Abbot Neighbourhood Team will be available at the Buckland Centre on Gilbert Road from 10am to 12pm on Tuesday, June 30, to discuss local concerns and provide updates on work being carried out to address issues affecting the community.

Officers are encouraging residents to attend and take the opportunity to raise any matters of concern and learn more about neighbourhood policing activities in the area.

Those unable to attend are reminded that crimes and incidents can still be reported online via the police website.

Police have advised that, due to operational demands, the event may be cancelled at short notice if required.
