Legal advice on the covenant covering town council owned land at Le Molay Littry Way, Bovey Tracey, is finally through after six months.
The council, which caused a stir in the town when it had behind closed doors talks about the land with an agent representing Sainsbury's, is to discuss the findings at a finance, resources and general purposes committee on Monday, April 30.
In effect, putting a supermarket on the site would be possible, but not necessarily practical.
