A PACKED programme of events is being planned in Dawlish to mark the Coronation of King Charles III.

Dawlish Town Council is organised three days of events as part of the holiday weekend.

From Saturday to Monday May 6 to 8, there will be a variety of activities for all ages. 

Among the planned entertainment is a live showing of the Coronation ceremony, a picnic on the Lawn, live music, back-off judging, choirs and circus skills. 

A yet to be announced film will also be screen on the Lawn. 

One of the events will be a street market on Monday, May 6, along the Strand with additional stall in the marquee and on the Lawn.

Bookings are filling up fast but there are a few places still available.

All catering and food stalls have been booked but there are still some available for arts, crafts, portraits and dog treats or accessories.

The deadline to book is March 15.
