DETERIORATING traffic conditions in Chudleigh Knighton, and in the near future a development that is likely to bring a dramatic increase in vehicle flow through the village, are worrying Hennock Parish Council.

The council has highlighted the problems, particularly the impact that the forthcoming building of 185 homes, 20 self-build houses and employment units at Bradley Bends, just outside Bovey Tracey, will have.

That development was refused by Teignbridge Council but was granted on appeal.

Now the parish council is asking Central Devon MP Mel Stride to draw the attention of the Secretary of State and Teignbridge Council to its concerns.
