DEVON County Council (DCC) has taken full ownership of a Exeter business park, it has been announced.
The council are taking ownership of the Skypark Development Partnership LLP (Limited Liability Partnership).
It follows the decision by developer St Modwen to leave the joint venture, with DCC purchasing its 50 percent share.
More than 1,070 people currently work at the 90-acre Skypark, which is in the Exeter and East Devon Enterprise Zone and has undergone significant development in the past couple of years.
Developments include Stovax & Gazco’s 205,000 sq ft purpose built manufacturing facility and Onyx Business Parks’ newly constructed flexible, high quality industrial units to support growing businesses, some of which are due to be occupied this month.
