The third edition of Teignmouth Town’s titular newsletter, Wavelength, is now avaliable.

Arriving just in time for Christmas, the parish newsletter began life earlier this year.

Wavelength covers the parish of Teignmouth and encapsulates a great deal of the information and notices deemed essential by the town council and thus people are encouraged to read it if possible.

The newsletter includes everything from dates for the diary such as those of forthcoming events and council meetings to the latest news from some Teignmouth-based organisations such as the Teign Heritage Centre.

Also, throughout the body of the newsletter there are helpful hyperlinks to other websites and resources relevant to the topics being discussed therein.

For example the latest updates from and advice given by public services like the Police and waste collecion are supplemented by links where readers can find out more should they wish.

It should also be mentioned that Wavelength contains a numer of announcements from key figures in the local community such as those who represent charities in the area as well as representatives from trade associations and one should not forget the mayor, Cllr Peter Williams, and his Christmas message.

The newsletter is avaliable online at: www.teignmouth-devon.gov.uk

Alternatively you can pick up a physical copy of the newsletter which has been distributed throughout Teignmouth.

Wavelength can be found at The Pavilions, Teignmouth Arts Action Group, the Alice Cross Centre, Richard Newton Hall, the Meadow Centre, the Library, the Ice Factory, various Churches across the parish and Bitton House.

The newletter’s creator, Cllr Joan Atkins, is happy to receive comments, suggestions and constructive criticism and can be contacted via the Council’s website.
