A warrant has been issued for the arrest of property developer and record-breaking ocean rower Simon Chalk (left).
Mr Chalk, of Pridhamsleigh Farm, Ashburton, was due to appear at South Devon Magistrates at Torquay on Wednesday for non-payment of court fines totalling £13,875.
The warrant, not backed by bail, was issued by magistrates after Mr Chalk failed to attend.
The fine was imposed in June 2008 in connection with a Grade II listed building Mr Chalk was redeveloping in East Street, Ashburton.
Dartmoor National Park prosecuted the 38-year old after he gutted the four-storey building without permission, causing a permanent loss of the historic fabric.
