A BUCKFASTLEIGH man will be sentenced by the Crown Court for assaulting a woman and possessing cannabis.
Danny Morgan, aged 23, changed his plea to guilty of assaulting the woman by beating at Finlake Holiday Park, Chudleigh.
He also changed his plea to guilty of possessing 1.56 grammes of cannabis.
He also changed his plea to guilty of damaging the woman’s iPhone.
He further admitted that during the operational period of a suspended sentence order made by Plymouth Crown Court he breached the order by possessing a knife in public place.
He was committed to Plymouth Crown Court for sentencing and granted conditional bail.
Four further charges against him were dismissed by South and West Devon Magistrates’ Court when no evidence was offered.
These were for damaging property at the campsite, assault on the woman, possessing a Rambo style knife in public and making threats to the woman.
He had pleaded not guilty to these charges.
