DRINK-driver Phillip Ballard has been banned for 18 months.
Ballard, aged 35, of Foxhollows Shaldon Road, Newton Abbot Decoy, pleaded guilty to driving while over the limit. He gave a reading of 68mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath, The legal limit is 35mcgs.
He was ordered to pay £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and £230 to fund victim services.
The ban can be reduced by 18 weeks if he completes a course.
