A HOMELESS man has denied destroying a window and assaulting a woman.
Joshua Clifford Kettle, aged 27, has pleaded not guilty to charges of possessing a kitchen knife in a Newton Abbot street and denies using threatening words or behaviour.
He also pleaded not guilty to causing £250 of damage by destroying a window belonging to a Newton Abbot woman and denies he assaulted her by beating.
He also denies making calls with threats of violence to intimidate the woman who was a witness.
He was remanded in custody until December 16 for a trial.
