A NEWTON Abbot man has admitted failing to comply with a community order.

Barrie Rose, 29, of Drake Road, failed to attend without reasonable excuse a requirement for unpaid work and leaving early, imposed for an original offence of driving while disqualified for which he was convicted in August 2021.

A suspended sentence had been imposed for the offence and the court decided to implement an eight week prison sentence.
