A BOVEY Tracey man admitted five charges of possessing weapons in private at his home.
Russell Edward Maddams, aged 53, of Priory, appeared before South and West Devon Magistrates' Court.
He pleaded guilty to possessing in private at his Bovey Tracey address a knife card and was fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and £34 to fund victim services.
Maddams also admitted having six shotgun cartridges with blades inside and w/as fined £80.
He further admitted having a Kubutan and was fined £80.
For possessing a three-section extendable baton in private he was fined £80 and for having in private a walking stick with blades he was fined a further £80.
The court ordered the weapons to be forfeited and destroyed by the police.
