THE CASE of a Kingsteignton man accused of breaching a restraining order, assault and criminal damage has been adjourned.

Ryan Fellows, 41, of Falkland Road, pleaded guilty when he appeared before south and west Devon Magistrates to breaching the order between January 22 and May 16 2022.

He sent messages by mobile phone, without reasonable excuse, to a person when prohibited from doing so by the order which was imposed by Exeter Crown Court in November 2019.

Fellows pleaded not guilty to a charge of assaulting a woman by beating on August 13 2022 at Newton Abbot.

He also denied a charge of damaging the front door and safety gate at a property in Newton Abbot on August 13.

Fellows was remanded in custody until September 12 for a case management hearing.
