CYCLIST Jim Scott was enjoying a ride high up on Dartmoor when he took a downhill bend at nearly 50mph and landed in a heap on the road.The injured rider ended up going even higher when the Devon Air Ambulance flew to his rescue on the road near Chagford Common.Mr Scott, from Plymouth, was flown to his home city's Derriford Hospital to make sure his head injury was not serious.Two fellow cyclists ran to his aid – one dashing back up the hill to slow traffic down while the other called 999.
