A CYCLIST, aged 50, was taken to hospital this morning after colliding with a car in Shaldon.

Police and paramedics attended the scene of the accident in Long Lane just after 9.30am.

The cyclist suffered a back injury in the bump.

He was taken by ambulance to Torbay Hospital’s casualty unit.
