DANCERS in Kingsteignton passed 100 per cent of their exams, with more than 90 per cent of them picking up the highest grades achievable.
ZC Dance pupils took their exams in ballet, contemporary, tap and street dance with UKA Dance (United Kingdom Alliance) and NATD (National Assocation of Teachers of Dancing).
Principal Zoe Brockman said: ‘The examiners commented on how outstanding the dancers are and I’m just so happy for all the pupils involved.
‘The results reflect how hard everyone has worked and also how much they love to dance. As principal I could not be prouder!’
The school had 100 per cent highly commended – the highest award for UKA Dance – in street dance, tap and under eights contemporary, and 90 per cent highly commended in ballet. In NATD contemporary 100 per cent of students were awarded distinction, the highest accolade for NATD exams.
