TWENTY-two acres of woodland garden on the edge of Dartmoor will be opening its gates to the public on Sunday for charity.

From 2pm to 5pm visitors can explore the gardens of Woodland Grove which has approximately 500 varieties of rhododendron and around 100 of camellia.

There will be a charge of £3 per person (children accompanied by adults are free) and the proceeds will be shared between Cancer Research UK and Chudleigh Parish Church.

Lustleigh’s Orchard Pre-school/Playgroup in Lustleigh, will sell tea and cakes for the group’s funds.

Paths are wide and mostly easy for walking although not suitable for wheelchairs. Dogs welcome on a lead.

Directions: Take the Manaton road from Bovey Tracey; after approximately two miles take the right turn signed Lustleigh; Woodland Grove is about 200 yards from this turning (postcode TQ13 9LG).
