DEVON YFC's annual show and sale returned yesterday with a bang, welcoming the county's young farmers from far and wide.

As the largest event in the YFC calendar, young farmers flocked from far and wide to meet, share ideas and enter their cattle into the many various categories, including beef and dairy cattle, sheep and pigs.

At the end of the day, it was Amy Bishop from Culm Valley YFC with her dairy cow that took the top spot of Supreme Champion.

A spokesperson for Devon YFC said: 'Thank you to our overall champion sponsor Livery Dole for all of your support, as well as Tom Hammett for being our overall judge.

'What a day it has been at Exeter Market for our Annual Show and Sale, with the biggest crowds we’ve had to date.

'Thanks once again to Kivells for all of their hard work in creating this incredible spectacle of YFC stock.'
