A new hair and beauty salon in Newton Abbot is holding a discount charity day on Saturday April 7 for Alzheimer’s Society.
Kelly Glover’s Hair and Beauty is offering big discounts on lots of treatments, including hair and nails, all day at the event. All the money spent on treatments will be going to the Alzheimer’s charity.
Owner Kelly Glover said: ‘We all wanted to do something for a charity. Some of our staff have experienced Alzheimer’s through a grandparent or great grandparent so we thought the Alzheimer’s Society would be a good one.
‘Being hairdressers we often hear about people’s difficult lives so it’s nice to be able to do something to help the community.’
