POLICE were called out after a man was seen walking his dog along the busy and dangerous A38 at Chudleigh this morning. (fri)

Officers rushed to the Harcombe Cross section of the Devon Expressway after the alarm was raised at 10am.

A search of the Exeter-bound carriageway failed to find the straying walker or his four-legged friend.
