IN the few days before Christmas, Newton Abbot Police are warning people not to let thieves steal their Christmas.

On their Facebook page the town’s police warn: ‘People will be out doing last minute shopping or enjoying the festivities.

‘Sadly while you are out, opportunistic thieves are on the lookout for what they can steal from your home.

‘We are sharing some tips on how you can help keep your home and property safe this Christmas.
