POLICE have warned drivers using the road at Haytor as an unofficial race track that they face having their cars crushed and a day in court.

They said the reckless behaviour on the B3387 was threatening the safety of other motorists and endangering wildlife.

Groups of 20 or more vehicles have been gathering after dark at the lower car park where they perform 'donuts' before competing side by side up the hill.
