READERS in Moretonhampstead are being quizzed on the future of their closure-threatened library.

A consultation process has begun to establish whether substantial funds can be raised to keep the town’s store of books in the 113-year-old Bowring Library or shift the operation to the nearby but less spacious Green Hill venue which already accommodates the arts centre and youth club.
