A YEAR to the day that Bovey Tracey Hospital minor injuries unit closed, National Health Service bosses are refusing to reveal its future.

Their refusal to indicate if it is reopening comes as this year's NHS annual audit of hospital services reveals the town's hospital has been given a vote of excellence in two out of three categories and good in the other.

For many residents, though, that is overshadowed by the latest development.

Since the end of July, anyone requiring attention to a minor injury has had to go to the GP Riverside Surgery in Le Molay Littry Way, though that is closed at weekends.
