THE gritters will be out in force and Devon County Council urges people to drive with ‘extreme care’ as temperatures plunge.
On their Twitter page DCC says: ‘There is an extended period of freezing weather forecast, from now until at least the end of next week.
‘Road surface temperatures aren’t expected to rise above freezing even during daytime hours, drive with extreme care, expect to find ice even on treated roads.’
