A NEWTON ABBOT man has been banned for 18 months for driving while over the drug-drive limit.

Jordan Sabel, aged 33, of Salisbury Road, admitted driving at Heathfield when the proportion of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannibol (THC) in his blood, at 6.8 micrograms, exceeded the limit.

He also admitted driving at Heathfield when the proportion of Benzoylecgonine (BZE) in his blood, at 80 micrograms, exceeded the limit.

He was banned for 18 months, fined £253 and ordered to pay Crown Prosecution Service costs of £85 and £202 to fund victim services.
