‘Absolute chaos’ as fallen scaffolding blocks road

A NEWTON Abbot road is currently blocked due to fallen scaffolding.

East Street is currently blocked in both directions.

An eyewitness told the Mid-Devon Advertiser it was ‘absolute chaos’.

Cars are diverting down Union Street as bystanders try to clear the road.

There is heavy traffic in the centre of Newton Abbot.
