LIBERAL Democrat leader Vince Cable is heading to Newton Abbot on Friday.

Sir Vince, MP for Twickenham, will be dropping into the South Devon University College to chat with students and principal Ian Crews.

The 74-year-old will also meet with lead scientist Dylan Taylor and representatives from MB Aerospace before taking a tour of the college.

The visit intends to show Sir Vince the region’s global reach in the technology, science, engineering and medicine sectors.

The senior politician is expected to arrive at 9am.
