A GROUP of future female scientists and engineers from Coombeshead Academy, Newton Abbot, spent an informative evening at the Women in Science, Technology, Engineering Mathematics exhibition and careers fair in Plymouth.

Representatives from the Armed Forces and local engineering companies inspired the A Level students with a variety of career possibilities.

‘It was altogether a valuable and enjoyable experience,’ said director of Sixth Form Jackie Druiff.
