THE great engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel re-visited the home of his atmospheric railway on Sunday. The great man strolled along Teignmouth promenade and answered questions on his great inventions in what is the 250th anniversary of his birth. The afternoon stroll formed part of Teignmouth's anniversary celebrations. People were invited to join in the nostalgia by wearing period costume or Sunday best. Teignmouth and Shaldon Museum have an exhibition for the anniversary year.
