West End stage star Kerry Ellis brings her Queen of the West End tour to South Devon’s Babbacombe Theatre later this month.

The vocal powerhouse has been attracting rave reviews with her show and its combination of music and chat which has been visiting intimate venues across the UK this autumn.

In Kerry Ellis: Queen of the West End, the girl who grew up admiring musical theatre icons Liza Minnelli and Barbra Streisand looks back on her illustrious career. Singing songs from the biggest musicals and telling stories about how she came to play roles, this is a unique opportunity to see and hear the West End’s biggest hits in very intimate settings.

‘I am loving being on this tour and we are having so much fun,’ said Kerry. ‘I feel I have been very fortunate to be able to add more dates than originally planned and I’m enjoying being back on the the road again and meeting more of my lovely fans!’

From My Fair Lady to We Will Rock You, from Les Misérables to Wicked, in both the West End and on Broadway, she has starred in musical theatre’s biggest roles, making shows her own and earning her numerous awards.

She made her West End debut in 2001 in the revival of My Fair Lady (as Martine McCutcheon’s understudy) before joining the cast of We Will Rock You in a leading role.

Her list of credits is remarkable and also includes Oliver!, Cats, Miss Saigon, Chess, The War Of The Worlds, and Anything Goes, among many others.

She has recorded four studio albums and toured the world both as a solo artist and with her good friend of Queen’s Sir Brian May.

Tickets for the 7.30pm show on Novemember 21 can be booked at https://babbacombe-theatre.com.
