The Teignmouth Players are presenting an hilarious stage adaptation of John Buchan’s The 39 Steps at Pavilions Teignmouth this week.
Richard Hannay leads a boring life. So boring that he resorts to a trip to the theatre! An event which turns his world upside down as he becomes embroiled in the world of subterfuge, spies, the Scottish Highlands and…National Security.
His conscience compels him to head far north to the Scottish wilderness where he dodges evil villains and corrupt officials with equal aplomb and huge slices of luck, counting a flock of sheep among his rescuers.
The show runs at Pavilions from Thursday, July 17 until Saturday July 19 with performances at 7.30pm and a 2.30pm matinee on the Saturday . Tickets are available from www.pavilionsteignmouth.org.uk.
