Shakespeare’s favourite villain is just itching to become king at Dartmouth Castle next week when the Inn Theatre Company present Richard III at the historic venue.

Richard’s twisted ambition and murderous plotting soon plunge England back into war, as its royal family tears itself apart with grief, revenge, anger and intrigue.

This is a play packed with family feuding, black comedy and high drama. Shakespeare’s Richard III is an irresistibly ruthless monster and Dartmouth Castle couldn’t be a better location to stage this blood-soaked story of greed and the battle for power.

The production runs from July 29 to August 2. For ticket details and performance times see the company’s website https://theinntheatrecompany.co.uk.
